Golf combines sport, enjoyment, technique, nature, and a zest for life all in one. Getting started is much easier than you think. Prepare to be surprised!<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"platz\"><\/a>Your ticket: the access pass<\/h2>\n<p>Before you can play on the golf course independently, you must pass the examination <a href=\"https:\/\/gcfruehling.at\/en\/schule\/platzerlaubnis_turnier-lizenz\/\">Landing permission <\/a>Successfully pass. Golf course permit courses are held regularly at Golfclub Fr\u00fchling. Our golf pros will teach you the most important knowledge of golf rules and etiquette. Naturally, a pro can also prepare you for the exam in individual lessons.<\/p>\n<p>You need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good sports shoes<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable clothing<\/li>\n<li>Golf glove that you can purchase directly in our pro shop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The remaining equipment will be provided to you as part of the course. If you wish to purchase your own equipment, please consult your pro!<\/p>\n<p>Pitch and putt courses last 10 hours and can be completed in one weekend. The exam is divided into theoretical and practical parts. Once you have passed, you will be authorised to play on our 9-hole NightCourse.<\/p>\n<h2>Golfing for Body and Soul<\/h2>\n<p>Golf promotes mobility, strength, coordination and endurance. It is an ideal recreational sport and strengthens the cardiovascular system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Little time, much pleasure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can enjoy golf not only on a full round: Our 9-hole LakeCourse and 9-hole NightCourse also allow you to play a round of golf in under 1.5 hours.<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"lizenz\"><\/a>The next step: the tournament licence<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/gcfruehling.at\/en\/schule\/platzerlaubnis_turnier-lizenz\/\">\u00d6GV Tournament Licence<\/a>\u00a0is a general licence to play on all courts. It is also your ticket to participate in tournaments.<\/p>\n<p>On the tournament licence course, you will also be taught by an experienced golf professional. The exam also consists of a practical and a theoretical part. After successfully completing the course, you can start your golf career.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is a handicap?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The handicap is a classic golf metric and reflects your approximate playing strength. A handicap of -45 means that on an 18-hole round, which usually consists of a total of 72 strokes (par 72), you are allowed an additional 45 strokes to play to your exact handicap. The fewer strokes you need, the better your handicap is.<\/p>\n<h2>Competitive Golf<\/h2>\n<p>If you have received your \u00d6GV tournament license and are a member of a golf club, you can participate in your first <a href=\"https:\/\/gcfruehling.at\/en\/turniere\/\">Tournament<\/a> participate. Participation is not possible without membership with administration by the \u00d6GV. For starters, we recommend 9-hole tournaments on <a href=\"https:\/\/gcfruehling.at\/en\/anlage\/lakecourse\/\">LakeCourse<\/a> Or <a href=\"https:\/\/gcfruehling.at\/en\/anlage\/nightcourse\/\">NightCourse<\/a>.
